Rain – A poem

What am I?

I am the anger of Jupiter and the mercy of Zeus

I am the mother of dew and the father of floods

I am the daughter of the oceans and the son of the clouds

I am the drought’s drain and a farmer’s cane

I am the wife of the winds and the husband of the storms

I am the bringer of life and yet I hold the power of death

I am a god loved and I am a god feared

I am yin-yang

I am rain
