Why Books are Better than Movies 


  1. Books contain a lot more story than the movie . It contains the original story . Movies adapted from movies change the story sometimes and the awesomeness goes away .
  2. Movies don’t let imagination do it’s work . It provides us with everything while books give us the basics information and after that it’s upto our imagination which makes books more easily compatible with the brain and more enjoyable . 
  3. Books are a lot more detailed . The most beautiful scenes are made better by slowing it by adding all sorts of details from all perspectives and whatnot . Books tell us what the characters are thinking , what they are feeling , not just what is happening .
  4. Books make the feeling last for a lot more time . The 250 pages take a week or so to finish while the movie completes it in two hours , thus destroying a lot more feelings and fun and suspense we feel . The cliffhangers per chapters can’t be felt in a movie . 
  5. If a book was to made into a movie , a true movie with keeping the story real , it would be nearly 8 hours . Movies cut down most of the story and changes it . The Percy Jackson Fandom can vouch for that . The originality of a book dies when it becomes a movie .
